World's smallest Gita now in store @ Kathana Jewellers

The blog had been silent for some time now. But we have been continuously working to introduce new products. The latest offering is a technological marvel. A beautiful cross fertilization of ideas from chip designing to fulfilling spirituality.

Introducing! The world's smallest Gita. The crystal tablet is all of 1 cm square in size and has all the 18 chapters and 700 shlokas of the holiest hindu book in 24 karat pure gold.To be able to wear it the tablet is set in various pendent designs.

There are variations of other holy texts like Ganesh Arti and Hanuman Chalisa is available in one pendent. Gayatri mantra repeated 108 times is another one. Vishnu and Lakshmi sahastranaam is yet another variation. The crystals tablets are priced at Rs.4100 and the pendents start from Rs.9250 uptil Rs.14,000. They are truly a unique gift idea in gold.

Behind this unique product is a team of MIT professors and passionate people here in Delhi India. You can read about the team at www.prakashcenter.org. But the reason for coming up with this idea is what takes the cake.

The team at Prakash centre is committed to help children, visually impaired, to be able to see again. Most of the proceeds from this venture goes into funding this extremely novel initiative. And they have already helped scores of children see better.
